Very early this morning (about 410 a.m) we were woken by about ten seconds of feeling our house shake. The specifics of the 4.2 earthquake : 37.81 North latitude, 122.19 West longitude, and depth of 5.8 km.
This puts it about a mile from our house…
I just about slept through it -and our born-and-bred California daughter had the presence of mind to jump out of bed and then crawl UNDER the bed for protection. Aside from a bunch of picture frames that tilted at funny angles – nothing else to report.
