On Saturdays throughout the year, the Grand Lake Farmer’s Market transforms the Splash Pad Park on Grand Avenue into the liveliest spot in Oakland. I bike over (parking’s tough, but there are lots of bike racks!) every Saturday to browse the seasonal produce, pick up some great prepared food at one of the many stalls manned by local restaurants, and listen to live music. I love that this market is in my neighborhood!
The market opens around 9 am on Saturday mornings and starts winding down about 1:30 pm.
